Loveland Technologies, based out of Detroit, Michigan, engaged Agnes Studio to assist in the rebranding of their existing product, Landgrid, and reintroduce it as Regrid.
Regrid is a web-and app-based product that delivers property data as a service. By standardizing location information, Regrid provides clean, transparent, and accessible data sets to its users, ranging from non-profits and academia to large enterprises.
I looked to urban planning and design, property parcels, and systems-based design, to create a modular visual identity for Regrid. Ultimately, parts make a whole. Each parcel of land creates a whole map of data. With Regrid, each letterform becomes its own parcel and together they create a whole. This created the base for the brand, where a flexible and adaptable system can be built upon.
Throughout the project, I contributed to the research, conceptualization, presentation, and build-out of the brand identity. The client chose my concept as the final direction and new face of Regrid.

"Each pattern can exist in the world only to the extent that it is supported by other patterns: the larger patterns in which it is embedded the patterns of the same size that surround it, and the smaller patterns which are embedded in it." - Christopher Alexander, architect
